Hot tea, wine, or water is offered complimentary by one of Tulsa’s finest spas, Elements Spa, with two locations one inside Crowne Plaza Hotel and the other inside The Marriott Southern Hills. Elements offers a full range of services such as manicures, pedicures, massages, and body polishing with exclusive hair care lines such as Aeto.
From the moment of entering Elements Spa, you instantly feel relaxed from the dim lighting to the soft music playing throughout. One room contains the geisha tub, which requires swimsuits, offers aromatic waters streaming from the ceiling and air jets to massage your body, relax muscles, and increase circulation. The Vichy shower, a cocoon shaped shower located in a separate room, is designed for body polishing. It is used to de-stress and soothe the body through a brown sugar scrub rubbed from head to toe. It gets rid of dead skin and gives a good healthy glow for a month. Both of these treatments can be added to any service and are usually done before a massage.
The changing room, elegantly decorated with a beautiful imported black sink made of coye, is where your experience begins. People change into their robes, provided by the spa, and place their personal belonging in wicker baskets. Sometimes causing a little confusion is the hatbox stool, which is a minimalist design toilet that makes people often ask, “How do I flush it?”
Among their six massages, offered is the 90 minute signature massage which they describe as “the ultimate massage” it uses oils and hot steam towels. “It’s the best massage we offer,” said Jessica, an employee at Elements.
In the aesthetics rooms, facials are offered. From their mild express 30 minute facial to their pure facial consisting of five treatments, Elements offers every complexion an opportunity to be revitalized. Also offered in the aesthetics room is waxing and microdermabrasion, which helps with cell renewal, sun damage, acne scarring, and pore size.
Other treatments, which can be added to any service, are the head trip, a hot oil scalp massage that utilizes aromatherapy and special massage techniques, and the oxygen bar, which is 90% pure oxygen helping to aerate your blood, stimulate and awake your senses and provide energy.
Elements Spa also offers premium packages such as “Girls Night Out” and “Couple’s Weekend Escape”. The “Girls Night Out” package provides a pasta dish, fresh salad, and Margaritas. A non-refundable deposit and a minimum of five girls are required. “Couple’s Weekend Escape” includes an overnight stay at the hotel, breakfast for two, hydrotherapy for two in candlelit rooms, a luxurious full body massage and complimentary wine and oxygen bar treatment. Also provided are wedding packages.
Elements are not only a quaint little spa offering luxurious services, but an exhilarating experience.
